The Life Of Buddah, A BBC Documentary On Buddhism
“Over 2,500 years ago, one man showed the world a way to enlightenment. This beautifully produced Buddhist film meticulously reveals the fascinating story of Prince Siddhartha and the spiritual transformation that turned him into the Buddha.”
My personal choice of orthodox spiritual paths, if I had to take one. I sincerely recommend reading any Christmas Humphrey, any Buddhist koan (meditations) compilations/teachings (such as Basho and I can’t remember the other famous ones: any comments?), and Willem Van De Vetering’s The Empty Mirror.
Not a radical film as such (typical BBC docu-drama pap, really) but a subject that is a radical concept: higher psychology as religion.

What I think Siddhartha allowed us to see much more clearly was the presence of suffering and the path towards its compassionate understanding. Thanks for sharing!
