Funny, this wasn’t on TV… I wonder why that is?

Brave man to take a stand like that. Anyone know what the reaction to this has been? I’ve heard nothing in the British press.

The British and US press are not predisposed toward towing an anti-establishment line. They are, to a considerable degree, essentially wings of the administration. I recommend John Pilger’s (50 year veteran journalist) speech in Chicago in 2005 for some background on this. Just type his name in the search box to the right and have a listen to what he has to say. Even better, watch his film ‘War On Democracy’ and through the Venezualan model presented there you’ll get a better idea of what is actually happening over here and in the US.
