While ‘communism’ still takes an unfair bashing (it meaning, actually and technically, decades of propaganda aside, the interdependency of small trading communities) this video gives the unfamiliar a good basic understanding of what the narrator calls the “political spectrum”. Any of the above sound familiar? Probably the best documentary I’ve seen on this subject since Pilger’s War on Democracy. In particular there is a small section where treason is discussed as an economic and political mechanism, used as regular as clockwork during most – if not all – administrations of government: including our own.

Sadly, a common mistake among any nations youth is to take out their governments immigration policy on the immigrants themselves. A misdirected and inefficient, but safer, method of dissention than taking the fight directly to the corporations and governments that have instigated the policy. I believe it won’t be long before these issues become further reaching throughout Europe. How will we and our children react? Will we put up with the polarisation of rich and poor such immigration policies tend to encourage in the land where the enlightenment project was born?

This film is not about Bush et al, unfortunately.
