I don’t think we’ll ever address human rights fully without looking at the way we treat other species.

    Of course, the way we treat “other” species is the root. Once we have empathy for animals – it only stands to reason that our compassion and respect for our own species will be elevated as well. Speciesism is the “root” of all social injustice.
