As a software engineer, I’d like to hear a little more detail about how this physicist has come to the conclusions he has. Interesting, and certainly radical, all the same.
“Dr Michael Persinger of Laurentian University quickly became the science darling of skeptics and atheists a decade ago with news of his ‘God Helmet’, which appeared to show that ‘sensed presence’ of supernatural entities (and/or ‘God’) may be simply due to magnetic disturbance of the brain. Since then however, Persinger has not made himself an overly attractive science reference for skeptics as he has been involved with, and claims to have achieved positive results in, experimental parapsychology.
Earlier this year, Persinger gave the following lecture, titled “No More Secrets”. In it, he detailed his theories on the connection between magnetic fields and the brain, in particular how this relationship could facilitate telepathy and remote viewing. He notes particular experiments and individuals (Ingo Swann, Sean Harribance) that seem to give evidence supporting his theories, and makes some fairly extraordinary claims which I’m sure will lead to some debate.”
Well, I’ve personally known this for a while. Exactly how this discovery will impact on Persinger’s previous rhetoric regarding religious experience, only time will tell (he obscurely references non-physical representation of experience and knowledge outside the brain – geophysical – during Q&A at the end of this lecture: “…what’s the mechanism, that we don’t know. But it’s going to be like a hologram.”). But what can we extend from such a model? Nothing new, in my opinion. Persinger’s idea isn’t original: it’s been expressed by crackpots, mystics, religious texts, new age spiritualists, the CIA… Even me. But it is interesting that a mainstream scientist has only now come up with this, when the evidence has been staring us all in the face for decades.
Interesting the parallel he draws between cell phone usage and the drop in paranormal activity globally. And the apparent effect of electromagnetic activity or electrical storms on telepathic ability of subjects during experiments.
This video is fascinating and uplifting. Miss it not, young wannabe Jedis.
“This video sheds light into the nature of love, relationships, the “New Age” movement, reality-creation, quantum physics, objectivity vs. subjectivity and how it all relates to the topics of “conspiracy theories”, psychopathy, and the importance of esoteric self-work.” – veilofreality.wordpress.com
I was so impressed by the objectivity and [deconstructivist/] philosophical insightfulness of this film, that I decided to try this one.
Again I found it intelligent and inspiring, featuring hard working and even harder talking speakers and authors, all of them in a totally different league to your average Oprah Winfrey “get rich witch doctor” spiritual advisors: these guys are spiritualised, politicised and wise radicals of the sort we need in these desperate and shameful times.
I hope you enjoy it and that it promotes within you the sort of mindful consciousness expressed by Bernhard Guenther and the people that inspire him.
With this film I wish all you radicalfilms.co.uk visitors, new and faithful, a very happy new year!
Apparently based on much of the work of Dr. Karla Turner: in terms of intelligence, imagination, scientific acumen and research, along with breadth of information, this documentary is by far the most succinct and interesting i’ve seen yet, bar none. It is in fact the only documentary film (in addition to John E Mack’s work, which I’d suggest you watch first) I would recommend on the deeper/wider levels of the subject of abduction. Frankly, anything else – to my mind, at this stage of our knowledge and history – is dangerous nonsense.
Whether you “believe in Aliens” or not, I suggest this documentary is worth watching as it serves as a human-centric philosophical treatise on the hyper-dimensional nature of reality and the universe. Get ready for disturbing eye witness accounts, and intelligent appraisals of those accounts, of a Quantum reality structure.
Keep an open mind, watch it, and learn. There are some fantastic, if disturbing, insights herein..
