Artist’s airbrushThe folks over at the Institute for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh have come up with a “skin gun” that can help burn victims recover from horrible mishaps and accidents that they’ve been through. The skin gun works by spraying a victim’s own stem cells onto his or her damaged skin. At the moment the process is still experimental, but results have been good, with patients healing severe burns within a few days. Despite being called a “gun” the skin gun resembles more of an artist’s airbrush and works in the same way — but instead of spraying paint, it sprays the patient’s adult stem cells in water. This revolutionary technology to skin restoration could go a long way to replacing the current skin healing medication, considering how fast it works. I am mostly inclined to say this is a hoax [update: two new videos (added above) and that inclination has lessened, though it could be a UAV]. Often sightings – even when real and not fabricated – are easily explained away: if real, this is not one of them. Will 2011 unfold as one of the most spectacular years on record for UFO sightings?

5th Feb, 2011: I’ve now added three more videos claiming to debunk the footage as a hoax. I always felt it was. However, this footage is nothing compared to this…

UPDATE: Now another video has surfaced (added at the end). Either someone’s having a lot of fun producing these and kicking back to watch the reaction or they are, in fact, real films. We really could do with witness statements, i.e. for someone (anyone seen a journalist?) to take the story seriously.

I keep thinking it’s a UAV because of the way it drifts back from the Dome. Also, the flashes really do look like a camera flash: there is a setup (smaller) pre-flash and then a larger one – just like your regular digital SLR. The thing that makes me uncomfortable about this assumption is the sheer speed it disappears up into the sky. I can’t imagine a UAV doing this but again I can’t really judge knowing next to nothing about the technology.

Of course, I’d imagine graphic and film artists are always trying to make their “UFO sighting” portfolios more and more realistic. However, these two – particularly the first – are shockingly real: I’d like to presume actually real. Both were filmed in Peru. In the first video I find the object with a rear flashing light that rises and then quickly dips back below the cloud line quite unnerving, somehow…

This could be what we’ve been waiting for. Compelling footage (even a little sobering and disturbing) from Doctor Roger Leir. This man has been doing other interesting research in the field by removing implants from alleged abductees and having them analyzed. To date the conclusions of the laboratories who examine these objects (who often do not even know what they are examining) are, to paraphrase, ‘not of this earth’… If this film is real, as the Turkish Scientific community in Istanbul appear to believe, then “they” are quite indisputably and most definitely here…
